Diane Marie Kindell, 64, of Carbondale, passed away unexpectedly October 28, 2019. Diane was born April 7, 1955, in Lennon, MI to Dexter and Bernita (Marble) Bowden. She graduated from Durand High School, Durand, MI, then moved out West. She married Terry (Rip) Kindell on October 15, 1978. They raised two children in the Roaring Fork Valley and had just celebrated their 41st Wedding Anniversary. Diane loved to be in the outdoors with her family. She enjoyed spending time at hunting camp, on their boat at Reudi Reservoir, riding horses and snowmobiling. She lived for being a grandma and would do anything for her three grandchildren. Diane is survived by her husband Rip, daughter Brooke (Tyler) Schreiner of Fruita, son Hank (Jacque) Kindell of Denver, grandchildren; Whitney, Eli, and Shayne, brother Rick (Kelly) Bowden of Lennon, MI, sister Julie (Bo) Bohan of Basalt, several nieces and nephews and a number of other loving relative ans close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be held at Farnum Holt Funeral home in Glenwood Springs on November 3rd. Visitation from 11:00pm-1:00pm, service to immediately follow at 1:00pm. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
