Past away suddenly doing what he loved, landscaping

Born in Newburgh, NY and graduated from Newburgh Free Academy High School

Jack fell in love with Colorado when he visited here with his dad on one of his many skiing trips out west and he made Colorado his home.

Jack was a talented skier who loved the mountains, the sport of fishing, going to the beach, hunting and boating, especially boating in Lake Powell. He was an avid NY Jets fan. Jack always had a good time no matter what he was doing. His smile was infectious, and Jack will forever be remembered for being fun and the life of the party.

Jack had an immense talent for flower arranging and gardening. He is the proud owner of Village Landscaping & Irrigation where he put his talents to work doing what he enjoyed. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Aspen.

Jack loved his family & friends from the East Coast and always kept close ties with his family and Jack loved all his amazing friends in Colorado.

He was predeceased by his father & mother, John “Jack” Lander and Linda Lander from Newburgh, NY

He is survived by:
Mary Kay Boggs whom he was spending the rest of his life with
Siblings: Jill (Joseph) Patterson, Jefferey (Tammy) Lander, and Jamie (Douglas) Sherman
Nieces: Jenna (Robert) Orapello, Jaclyn (Matthew) Sampson, Julia McCullough, Sarah McCullough, and Mikayla Phillips
Nephews: Jack McCullough and James Lander
Great Nieces: Madelyn Sampson & Isla Orapello
Great Nephews: Robert Orapello, Mason Sampson, Sam Orapello & Luca Orapello
